Pokemon Go players call for changes to “pointless” 5-Star Raid Hour
NianticRaid Hour is a feature that has been a part of Pokemon Go for a while, and players have a couple of things to say about it. Fans are now complaining that it is “pointless” to participate in them via campfire.
Lately, Pokemon Go has been subject to mixed feedback from fans and trainers, as some events left the community asking for more, and some of the features are still not working as they should be. Pokemon Go users voicing their concerns on social networks is a recurrent theme these days.
Now, some Pokemon Go Reddit community members have been talking about the 5-Star Raid Hour, calling it “pointless.” Players are not pleased that the campfire group-finding feature seems to be working poorly, with infinite queues being the main issue.
Pokemon Go players slam 5-Star Raids
Reddit user Danny6060 posted about the 5-Star Raid Hour in Pokemon Go and asked for the community’s opinion about the inability to organize a Raid using the campfire feature successfully.
Players responded with several possible solutions for this issue. One of them wrote: “I don’t host on raid hour/day because there’s just too many people in front. But normally if I see there is a bunch of open lobbies. I start hosting before the egg even hatches.”
Another player said: “Same here. I start to queue up about 30 minutes before raid hour & I always managed to get a lobby in.”
Several other players had the same issue as Danny6060 and shared their experiences with the community: “Love the app but never had success during raid hour. Too many hosts during that window.”
Whether the campfire feature is not working properly or the 5-Star Raid Hour is overwhelmed with hosts, making them feel “pointless,” players aren’t pleased with the current offering.
It is unlikely that Niantic will respond to the community and make the requested changes for the 5-Star Raid Hour events, but we will keep you informed if new developments come up.
