Pokemon Go players blame Niantic for “lame” rewards

Pokemon Go has some curious Raid mechanics, so players expect to be rewarded after completing such hardcore challenges. However, fans have been experimenting some pretty bad streaks of poor luck, and blame devs for these results.

Pokemon Go players are always struggling to be the very best, even if that means grinding for hours trying to get the perfect IV Pokemon. Raids are a perfect opportunity to get strong species to add to their team, which is why they’ve become one of the most popular events in the game.

However, luck is not always on the players’ side, and worst-case scenario, they end up with their hands empty, or with a “trash” Pokemon at best. So it is no surprise that many trainers complain daily about the meager rewards this game offers them.

Pokemon Go player named ‘ZeligD’ even went as far as to say they felt “punked” by the game, and explained that after 45 successful Raids, none of the Pokemon he faced had good IVs. In this case, they were looking for a Giratina, one of the most sought-after species in the game.

“No shiny Cresselia, Heatran, Uxie, Mespirit, Azelf, and now Giratina because raid hour is over I’ve run out of remote passes. Nothing over 90% IV since Darkrai. But hey at least I got the equivalent of a raid nundo,” the player stated.

Another player also explained how he wasted two remote passes, and even with 28 excellent throws, they didn’t manage to catch a single one of those Legendaries: “F**k you, Niantic. Do you hate your players as much as it seems?”

Pokemon Go players blamed devs behind the popular mobile game for their bad luck, and accused them of setting mechanics that behave like “mindless grinding machines,” or even worse, like “a piggybank they can ride on.”

Nevertheless, the game keeps rolling on, and as its Timeless Travels season is about to end, so it’s a matter of waiting for what Pokemon Go will bring to the table to appease its fans.
