Pokemon Go launched a new season of contents with Timeless Travels, and players are already looking forward to a new special event titled Adamant Time. Here’s everything you need to know about it, including dates, Raids, Research, and more.

After a season centered around Paldea and Gen 9 Pokemon, Pokemon Go is going back in time with the Timeless Travels season. While players explore everything new in the mobile game, Niantic revealed a new event that will feature Pokemon from Kanto and new Ditto disguises, among many other things.

So, without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about the Pokemon Go Adamant Time event, including dates, Raids, encounters, Research, and more.

Pokemon Go Adamant Time event dates

The Pokemon Go Adamant Time event will run from Monday, December 11, 2023, at 10 AM to Friday, December 15, 2023, at 8 PM (local time).

This new event will bring important changes to the number of guaranteed Lucky Pokemon a trainer can receive in a trade, changing it from 15 to 25. Additionally, those who trade Pokemon that have been in storage since 2018, the Pokemon is guaranteed to become a Lucky Pokemon until the limit is reached.

Pokemon Go Adamant Time wild encounters

The Pokemon Go Adamant Time event will feature Pokemon from the Kanto region, and players will be able to encounter these species in the wild:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Vulpix
  • Oddish
  • Ponyta
  • Krabby
  • Voltorb
  • Koffing
  • Rhyhorn
  • Goldeen
  • Dratini

All the above Pokemon can be shiny, so lucky players might encounter them in shiny form in the wild during the event.

Pokemon Go Adamant Time new Ditto disguises

The Adamant Time event will shuffle Ditto’s disguises in Pokemon Go after months. These are the new disguises Ditto will use starting December 11:

  • Oddish
  • Koffing
  • Rhyhorn
  • Goldeen

All these Pokemon can appear as shiny in the wild.

Pokemon Go Adamant Time event Raids

The following Pokemon will headline Pokemon Go Raids during the Adamant Time event:

3-Star Raids

  • Chansey
  • Scyther
  • Snorlax

1-Star Raids

  • Staryu
  • Omanyte
  • Kabuto

Lucky players might encounter shiny versions of these Pokemon after defeating them in Raids.

Pokemon Go Adamant Time Field & Timed Research

Pokemon Go players will be able to tackle different Timed and Field Research tasks during the Adamant Time event.

A Catch Up Timed Research will give players the chance to earn XP just by leveling up. The Research tasks will ask players to reach Levels 10, 20, 30, and 40 to claim the rewards. Those who already reached those levels will be able to claim the rewards automatically.

A different Timed Research will focus on making new friends. Players who add friends during the Adamant Time event will get the chance to earn XP, Stardust, and Ultra Balls.

Additionally, those who spin PokeStops during the event will get event-themed Field Research tasks. Completing them will give players the chance to catch some of the following Pokemon:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Vulpix
  • Abra
  • Machop
  • Geodude
  • Ponyta
  • Gastly
  • Krabby
  • Voltorb

All Pokemon listed above can appear as shiny, so be on the lookout for them.

Pokemon Go Adamant Time event bonuses

The Pokemon Go Adamant Time event will only have the following bonuses:

  • 3x XP for catching Pokemon.
  • Krabby, Vulpix, Ponyta, Voltorb, and Ditto will headline PokeStop Showcases.
