More Paradox Pokemon could arrive in Scarlet & Violet but not everyone’s convinced
Game FreakThe Pokemon world is full of conspiracy theories, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are no exception to the rule. The games are still filled with a lot of things to discover, and players believe the evidence of new Paradox Pokemon coming to the game.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is filled with interesting lore, and many Pokemon to catch. Even more so with the latest addition the 2nd part of the DLC: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, and its epilogue quest, Mochi Mayhem.
The Indigo Disk added more combat difficulty, a new Elite Four Challenge, and a vast map to explore, but also, a lot of new Legendary and Paradox Pokemon. Now, many trainers believe the latest Paradoxes might not be the last, due to a missing Paradox type that has yet to be on the roster.
This missing type, according to some players, could mean that more Paradox Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and here’s why they think so.
This was posted by Reddit user ‘Generic_Username_669’ in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet subreddit, with the caption: “Fun fact: There is a Paradox Pokemon for every type, except Normal,” and it immediately sparked a discussion about whether Game Freak will add more Paradox Pokemon to fill the missing type.
One of the players commenting on the post stated: “One can only hope. If this is true, then we might see either Arceus or Keldeo Paradox forms. I put my money on those.” While another player also believes that Regigigas, Porygon, and even Castform could do well as Paradox Pokemon.
But some players refuse to accept the theory of the OP and the rest of the fans, as one of them said: “Jigglypuff still is normal. They added fairy onto it. Clefairy went from pure normal to pure fairy.” And another player answered: “That’s because there’s nothing normal about paradoxes.”
Meanwhile, a less enthusiastic player stated: “It seems like S&V are done and leakers would have found references to a new Pokémon in the files a while ago so it’s probably not going to happen.”
So there you have it, despite the theories of many enthusiast fans, it is unlikely that new Paradox Pokemon will arrive as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
