Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced players to a new evolution method called Let’s Go. If you’re looking to evolve Pawmo, Bramblin, or Rellor in the latest Pokemon game, here’s everything you need to know.

With more than a thousand Pokemon in existence, longtime players know that there are a lot of different evolution methods for some very particular Pokemon. Depending on the game, the generation, and other factors, some Pokemon might be easier to evolve than others.

While some evolutions require items, moves, or even trading, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced a completely new method called Let’s Go.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Let’s Go feature, including how to evolve Pawmo, Bramblin, and Rellor.

What is the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Let’s Go feature?

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet let players send their first Pokemon in the party out in the wild so they can walk together and even auto-battle wild Pokemon. This new feature is called Let’s Go, and players only need to press the R button to trigger it.

Once they’re out of their Poke Ball, the Pokemon will roam around and follow the trainer until they’re too far away or in danger of fainting after a tough battle. Pokemon will also gather different items while in Let’s Go mode. Players can check their Pokemon status with the indicator on the bottom left corner of the screen.

This Let’s Go feature inspired by Pokemon Go plays a major role when trying to evolve three new Pokemon introduced in Gen 9, so let’s see what that’s all about.

Pokemon can explore, battle, and gather items in the Let’s Go mode.

How to Evolve Pawmo, Bramblin & Rellor in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Pawmo, Bramblin, and Rellor need to walk 1000 steps in Let’s Go mode to evolve. The next time they level up, they’ll evolve. This can be done with Rare Candy, Exp. Candy, or battles. If any of these Pokemon level up during an auto-battle, they won’t evolve.

  • Pawmo evolves into Pawmot after walking 1000 steps and leveling up.
  • Bramblin evolves into Brambleghast after walking 1000 steps and leveling up.
  • Rellor evolves into Rabsca after walking 1000 steps and leveling up.

Since no indicator in the game can show how many steps a Pokemon has walked, it’s recommended players walk around for 2 to 10 minutes alongside their Pokemon. The best strategy is to walk in circles inside a town or a city.

That’s all you need to know to get your steps in to evolve Pawmo, Bramblin, and Rellor.
