How to build & move bases in Palworld

As you strive to become stronger in Palworld, catching Pals and keeping them in a well-built base is a very significant step in your journey. So here’s how to build a base and move it whenever necessary in Palworld.

Palworld is the next big thing in the gaming community as it has already achieved a massive audience of millions of players across the world. With such a high player count, it has been continuously topping Steam Charts since its launch on January 19.

Catching Pals and discovering new species to take on difficult bosses in Palworld might be its prime attraction, however, storing your owned Pals in a base is equally important. For that, you will have to make one and might even have to relocate it depending on the situation.

Here’s how to build a base and relocate it in Palworld.

How to build a base in Palworld

You will need to reach Level 2 in Palworld and build a Pal Box with a few handy ingredients available in the world. The only step to set up a base in the game is to build the Pal Box and set it down in the ideal location.

You can make the Pal Box by unlocking it using a Technology Point under the Technology section of the main menu. The ingredients you will need to make it are:

• 1x Paldium Fragment
• 8x Wood
• 3x Stone

Although Wood and Stone are pretty common in Palworld and can easily be salvaged, you will need to look for Paldium Fragments for some time. Whenever you spot blue glowing rocks on the ground, stop there and break them with a Pickaxe or any other weapon to get Paldium Fragments.

How to move a base in Palworld

The only way to move your base and Pal Box in Palworld is by disassembling it. If you ever have the feeling that you made a judgmental error in choosing your base location, you can simply do this and choose a better one.

Open your Map and find your base with the Castle icon to start the process. Then simply select Disassemble Pal Box to have all the materials returned to you. Now you can choose another location and set your Pal Box up there.
