As we head towards the end of Overwatch 2 Season 9, the new content is still coming thick and fast. Hot on the heels of Cosmic Crisis comes the Cowboy Bebop event, a crossover with the popular anime that brings plenty of rewards.
While the community is gearing up for the new Hero in Season 10, players are also keen to earn skins for their favorite current characters. Luckily, this event brings just that, as there’s a free Ein Wrecking Ball skin up for grabs.
So, here are all the challenges and rewards in the OW2 Cowboy Bebop event, including how to get Ein Wrecking Ball.
How to unlock Ein Wrecking Ball skin in Overwatch 2
Overwatch 2 players can complete any 11 Cowboy Bebop event challenges to unlock the Ein Wrecking Ball skin. There are 14 different challenges in total, but you can pick the easiest ones to help you earn the free cosmetic.
It’s worth noting that only nine of the objectives went live at the start of the event, with the rest scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, March 19. So, you’ll have to wait until this date to secure the Hammond skin.

OW2 x Cowboy Bebop event end date
The Overwatch 2 Cowboy Bebop event comes to an end on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, after it got underway on March 12. This gives players two full weeks to grind every challenge and earn every themed reward.
