Rupees are the main currency in Zelda TOTK, so if you’re looking to farm Rupees, here are the best methods to make money fast in Tears of the Kingdom.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players will come across their fair share of unlockable items in chests across Hyrule, but they’ll also find valuable items being sold by merchants.

Merchants and other shop owners boast a wide variety of items, weapons, and equipment that Tears of the Kingdom players won’t want to pass up. Since the main currency in Hyrule‘s Tears of the Kingdom is Rupees, you’ll want to know how to farm them so you’re never running low on funds.

Here’s how to make money fast in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

How to sell meat for Rupees in Tears of the Kingdom

Meals with cooked meat sell for a decent amount of Rupees.

Players can collect meat by hunting wildlife across Hyrule. In turn, cooked meals that utilize meat sell for a high price.

The best place to hunt in Tears of the Kingdom is in the Northwest area called the Tabantha Snowfield. Players will find the Snowfield Stable in this region, East of the Hebra Mountains.

This snowy tundra is an ideal place to hunt for meat. However, before you can take advantage of this method, you’ll have to investigate a blizzard that has driven all of the animals away.

Once you clear this part of the main story that solves the weather phenomenon in the northern regions, the animals will return and you’ll be able to collect your meat.

We recommend using a horse to travel and equipping warm weather gear to tackle the cold. As you ride around the snowfield, you’ll commonly come across the Tabantha Moose and the Cold-Footed Wolves. Defeat the animals with a bow headshot and collect your meat.

Next, you’ll want to cook the meat into meals, which you can trade at the Snowfield Stable for Rupees.

Complete the Eventide Island plane challenge in Tears of the Kingdom

Eventide Island is not easy to find, but you can easily make Rupees once there.

You’ll find Eventide Island in the Southeast sector of the Tears of the Kingdom map. You’ll likely have to use a Zonai Wing to reach Eventide Island from Cape Kales. Once there, look for the two researchers who are aiming to test their Zonai plane.

Their test will have you navigate and land the plane on their target’s location. If you land the plane to their liking, you’ll receive 100 Rupees. However, the challenge costs 20 Rupees per attempt. It may take a few attempts to get the hang of the Zonai plane, but once you do, you stand to gain a profit of 80 Rupees per attempt.

Sell items & gems for Rupees in Tears of the Kingdom

You’ll come across a wide variety of items and materials during your playthrough of Tears of the Kingdom. While some will prove incredibly valuable, others won’t seem as useful to you. Luckily, you can always sell your unwanted items to merchants for Rupees.

You can find vendors in several of the towns you’ll visit across Hyrule. Simply select the dialogue options that lead to the merchant purchasing your unwanted items.

When it comes to your gems, you’ll want to visit a vendor that goes by Ramella. You can find Ramella in Goron City, and she’ll offer the best price in Rupees for your gems such as Rubies, Ambers, and Topazes.

Keep in mind that you’ll only find Ramella after finishing the Death Mountain quest. Once she returns to Goron City she’ll offer to buy your gems in bulk.
