Riogok Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

While Tears of the Kingdom players can’t level up, they can increase Link’s health and stamina with Lights of Blessing. The only way to get them is by completing Shrines, so here’s how to complete Riogok Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gives players the chance to explore Hyrule like never before, with a huge map that also contains large areas in the Depths and Sky Islands to visit. There are also a total of 152 Shrines players can complete to earn Lights of Blessing. This key item can enhance Link’s health and stamina, so players are always looking to get as many as they can during their playthrough.

While most Shrines have more than one possible solution, it’s not always easy to figure it out. The Riogok Shrine might have you walking in circles, so here’s how to find and complete this Shrine in Zelda: TOTK.

Riogok Shrine “Force Transfer” puzzle solution in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Riogok Shrine puzzle is titled ‘Force Transfer’ in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and it involves interconnected gears.

The first thing you’ll see upon entering are two giant gears and a log on the floor. Use Ultrahand to attach the log in between cogs, so you get the tiny gear moving. Once the gears turn, the door will open, allowing you inside the main puzzle.

In this larger room, the first thing you need to do is attach a log to the lever you’ll see next to a small gate. Once you attach it using Ultrahand, turn the lever to the left to open the gate. Inside, you’ll find another log. Once you get it out, detach the first log from the lever.

Before trying to solve the Force Transfer puzzle, go to the left of the small gate. You’ll see the treasure chest on a ledge. Attach the two logs together to create a large pole, and then attach that to the treasure chest. The whole contraption should fall right next to you, so you can open the chest and get a mighty Construct Bow.

There are many ways of solving the Force Transfer puzzle.

To solve the Shrine puzzle, you’ll need to detach the logs and head all the way to the left, where you’ll see the cog next to two movable platforms. First, attach one of the logs perpendicular to the large platform. Make sure the log is positioned right under the other, smaller platform.

Once you have done that, attach the other log to the edge of the large platform in a way that is close to the moving cog. Once the large end of that cog touches the log, it’ll make the platform go up. If you positioned the other log correctly, you’ll be able to use Ascend on the smaller platform to reach the end of the Shrine.

And that’s it! You can now claim one more Light of Blessing. For more Zelda content, make sure to check some of our other guides:
