Honkai Star Rail “Where Are You, Mystery Trotter” event: Dates, locations & rewards
HoYoverseHonkai Star Rail players can get useful rewards thanks to a new in-game event. So, here’s everything you need to know about the “Where Are You, Mystery Trotter?” event, including all Trotters’ locations and rewards.
Honkai Star Rail keeps its players entertained and the update 1.2 brought a lot of interesting content to the game. Apart from powerful characters that players can get, the latest version of HoYoverse’s RPG also brought new missions, Relics, and events to enjoy before the next update arrives.
Currently, Trailblazers can take part in an event titled ‘Where Are You, Mystery Trotter?’ to get rewards without breaking a sweat. So, if you’re interested in useful items and level up materials, we’ll cover everything you need to know about this event, including dates, locations, and more.
Honkai Star Rail Where Are You, Mystery Trotter? event dates
The Honkai Star Rail Where Are You, Mystery Trotter? event started on July 28 and runs until August 14, 2023. Players need to encounter and defeat one Trotter a day for seven days to get all rewards. This means you have until August 7 to start participating if you want to get all possible items.
The only requirement for this event is to reach Trailblaze Level 21, so keep that in mind. You’ll see a notification in the Travel Log menu that will take you to Regin. He’s the scientist located in the lobby of the Goethe Hotel in Belobog’s Administrative District.
HoYoverseAll Mystery Trotters locations in Honkai Star Rail
The Where Are You, Mystery Trotter? event in Honkai Star Rail makes players look for Trotters in disguise around Belobog. Each day, players need to talk to Regin to use his sensor, and then encounter the Trotter in a different location. Here are all the Trotter locations:
Day One: First time
You’ll find the first Trotter in Belobog’s Administrative District, right outside the Goethe Hotel. You’ll need to interact with the vending machine to trigger the first encounter.
Day Two: Second Time
After talking to Regin on the second day, head to the marked area on the map, and you’ll find a Moving Advertisement near the Golden Theater. Interact with it to trigger another Trotter encounter.
Day Three: Third Time
Once you activate the sensor on the third day, Regin will send you to investigate the snow at the Outlying Snow Plains in Jarilo-VI. You’ll need to teleport there and investigate a couple of Snow Drifts. A Trotter will be hidden in one of them.
Day Four: Fourth Time
On the fourth day, Regin will send you to Boulder Town. You’ll find an old lady and a kid in an alley, trying to figure out a film projector. Once you activate it, the lady and the kid will go, but you’ll need to interact with the projector again to trigger the encounter.
Day Five: Fifth Time
The fifth Trotter is hiding inside a double-doored wardrobe in Rivet Town. After speaking with Regin, head there. You’ll find the wardrobe in an instant since it’s the only piece of black furniture in the area. You’ll find the key to the wardrobe right next to it.
Day Six: Sixth Time
The sitxth Mystery Trotter isn’t very good at hiding and you’ll find it in Jarilo-VI’s Great Mine. Once you teleport near the area marked on the map, you might have to fight a couple of enemies before reaching the Trotter’s location. You’ll need to investigate some tents to encounter it, but it’s pretty obvious in which of them the Trotter is hiding.
Day Seven: Seventh Time
To find the last Mystery Trotter, you’ll need to head to Boulder Town. Once you arrived at the area marked on the map, you’ll see three kids around what appear to be Regin himself. When you interact with the group, the kids will tell you that the scientist is giving them lessons, although he’s always repeating the same sentences over and over.
Once you go through all the dialogue, you’ll trigger an encounter with the Trotter that was impersonating Regin. You’ll need to defeat two waves of enemies, so be ready. After that fight, head back to the real Regin inside the Goethe Hotel to claim the ultimate reward: 1x Tracks of Destiny.

Additionally, players can get 1,400 Battle Pass Experience once they complete all objectives, which is great to reap even more rewards.
