Diablo 4 Season 4 features various classes, each with its unique skill trees, specializations, playstyles, weapon sets, builds, and more. You can switch between weapons automatically depending on those classes and skills.

This automatic switching might not be ideal for some players if the weapon doesn’t suit your playstyle. While most classes don’t let you have control over it, Barbarian gives you the freedom to manually assign weapons to skills.

How to switch Barbarian weapons in Diablo 4

In Diablo 4, you can switch your Barbarian weapons through the Skills menu, as it will allow you to cycle through different weapons for each skill. Here’s how you can do it:

Open your Skill Tree from the character sheet and then enter the Skill Assignment menu.
This menu will show you a list of all the skills that are available to you including the ones that you’ve unlocked.
When you hover over a skill, you should be able to see “Arsenal Selection” if it supports multiple weapons.
Use the button prompt to assign a particular weapon to it.
After this, whenever you use the skill in combat, you will automatically use the weapon that you’ve manually assigned to it.

For most classes, weapon switching is automatic, as different skills will naturally use different weapons. Some skills are better suited for certain enemies over others simply due to the weapon they make use of.
