Diablo 4 Season 3 features various classes, each with its unique skill trees, specializations, playstyles, weapon sets, builds, and more. You can switch between weapons automatically depending on those classes and skills.

This automatic switching might not be ideal for some players if the weapon doesn’t suit your playstyle. While most classes don’t let you have control over it, Barbarian gives you the freedom to manually assign weapons to skills.

How to switch Barbarian weapons in Diablo 4

In Diablo 4, you can switch your Barbarian weapons through the Skills menu, as it will allow you to cycle through different weapons for each skill.

For most classes weapon switching is automatic, as different skills will naturally use different weapons. Some skills are better suited for certain enemies over others simply due to the weapon they make use of.

However, if you’re playing the Barbarian class, things work slightly differently, as you can equip up to four weapons. While most of the Barbarian’s skills will automatically switch your weapon like other classes, some of them will allow you to assign a specific weapon.

In Diablo 4, you can switch your weapons through the Skills menu.

Follow these steps to switch your weapon with Barbarians:

While in-game, open the Skills Menu.
Select the skill you want to change.
Press the appropriate button to cycle through the weapons you can use for that skill.
Select the one you wish to use.

After completing the steps above, your Barbarian build will automatically switch to that weapon when you use the skill.
