Anticipation for more GTA 6 information is starting to build and leaks have revealed that a well-liked feature could be making a major comeback.

GTA 6 fans have been starved of official information since Rockstar Games revealed the first trailer for the highly anticipated title. While the first look answered some questions that players built up, there are plenty still left unanswered.

Most of the intrigue has to do with new features that could shake up the GTA 6 gameplay formula. Of course, the core gameplay is not expected to stray too far from what players have come to expect from a Grand Theft Auto game.

However, with previous titles to draw upon, the devs have the chance to revive some fan-favorite features and give them a fresh twist in GTA 6. Redditor Well_Look_Whos_Back has been proven accurate when it comes to leaks in the past, and players noticed that the now-deleted account hinted at the return of a basketball mini-game in GTA 6.

While the rumor was originally revealed some time ago, it started to spread across X and Reddit once again in February 2024. The claim that a 3v3 basketball mini-game could return in GTA 6 has players extremely excited after the feature was a huge hit in GTA San Andreas.

The response to the above X post is full of players eager to dive into the rumored basketball mini-game in GTA 6: “Let’s f***ing gooooo finally like bruh who tf wanted golf and tennis.”

Players were quick to joke about the possibility of the GTA 6 mini-game outshining the NBA 2K series: “It’ll probably have better mechanics than 2k.” While another said, “Boutta be better than any 2k ever made.”

It remains to be seen if and how the leaked basketball mini-game will be integrated into GTA 6, but fans are hoping for the best when it comes to the return of the classic feature.
