Tekken 8 Eddy release date
Eddy will be released in Tekken 8 on April 5, 2024, for all players, and April 2 in early access for those with the Playable Character Year 1 Pass. This was announced on March 29, 2024, along with the 1.03.01 patch for Tekken 8.
How to get Eddy in Tekken 8
To unlock Eddy in Tekken 8, you’ll need to purchase the Playable Character Year 1 Pass, which you can get by purchasing the Deluxe Edition or upgrade for the game, which costs around $30 / £32.99. There’s a chance that the devs will release an option to purchase the Year 1 Playable Character Pass on its own, so we’ll update this section if that becomes available.

Who is Eddy in Tekken 8?
Eddy Gordo is a character that was introduced in Tekken 3 (1997) and was included in the launch roster for Tekken 7. Returning for Tekken 8, Eddy is Brazilian and his fighting style is Capoeira, a martial art of Brazilian and African origins. His fighting style is dance-like and very acrobatic.
Eddy is fighting in the King of Iron Fist tournament in hopes of getting revenge for his father’s death, who was killed while working to destroy Brazil’s drug cartel.
