Stardew Valley‘s story is driven by the choices you make and once you reach combat Level 5, you’ll have to pick between Fighter and Scout professions.

Naturally, this begs the question of which among the two does the most damage and how useful can each be towards the latter parts of the game.

Each profession has its perks.

What to pick at combat Level 10 in Stardew Valley

Once you reach Level 10 combat in Stardew Valley, you’ll have two choices depending on what you picked at Level 5.

  • For Fighter, you can pick between:
    • Brute – Damage boosted by 15%
    • Defender – HP boosted by 25
  • For Scout, you can pick between:
    • Acrobat – Cooldown on special moves is reduced to half
    • Desperado – Critical hits are lethal

While you can pick Scout to choose Desperado for the significant crit buff at Level 10, you’ll hardly encounter enemies with huge HPs for it to become useful. It’s always best to stick to Fighter as it’s a better profession overall, allowing you to take down the early-game enemies with ease.

That should help you pick between Fighter or Scout in Stardew Valley. For more content on the game, be sure to check the following:
