Payday 3 release date

Payday 3, the sequel to the highly successful Payday 2, is set to release on September 21, 2023. The release date was announced on June 11, 2023, during the Xbox Showcase of Summer Game Fest.

Payday 3 will be available for PC and Xbox Series X/S come September 21, 2023. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also be pleased to know that Payday 3 will be accessible on the platform from day one.

Payday 3 story & gameplay details

Payday 3 is set several years after the end of Payday 2. Despite the heisters going their separate ways at the end of the second game, the gang has reassembled to confront a new threat that has stirred them from their retirement.

The game mainly takes place in New York during the 2020s, and those familiar with the franchise will be right at home with the gameplay.
