How to complete No Rest for the Wicked heist in Payday 3

Before we dive in, it’s important to know that you’ll get slightly different objectives based on the level of difficulty you’re playing in Payday 3. We’ll go over the steps to get in and out of the bank on the Normal difficulty in this guide.

How to enter the bank

Players need to enter the bank to begin this heist in Payday 3. While entering the bank through the front door is the easiest, it will set off alarms. You can use the fire escape to climb up to the roof of the bank.

Then, you can enter the building through the open door towards the right side of the roof.

How to enter the vault (Stealth)

If you’ve managed to remain undetected by the security cameras and guards so far, you can quietly disable the lock on the bank’s vault to progress in the No Rest for the Wicked heist in Payday 3. This requires you to obtain the red and blue keycards by killing the patrolling guards or by pickpocketing them.

Once you have the red keycard, head to the electrical room on the second floor and hack the computer to disable the security system by turning on the maintenance mode. Take note of the color of the cable connected that is shown on the display right next to the computer.

Now, go down to the first floor and use the blue keycard to enter the camera room. There’s a guard monitoring the security cameras inside this room, kill him and the security cameras will no longer detect you.

Then, you need to cut off the power supply to the vault in No Rest for the Wicked heist in Payday 3. You can see a red wire next to the vault’s entrance, attached to an electrical board. There are four switches here, each with a different color. Flip the switch with the color that appeared on the display earlier. You can now access the vault area to enter the code.

Only a high-level bank executive can grant you access to the vault.

Next, you need to grab a bank employee to use the eye scanner and authenticate it. Before you do so, make sure to close all the curtains in the lobby and kill the guards to avoid being detected. Grab a high-level executive from the meeting room and use them as a human shield while making your way to the vault area. Shove the executive in front of the vault and they’ll give you access to the vault.

Finally, you need the vault’s code to get to the main loot in the No Rest for the Wicked heist in Payday 3. You can find the code on the manager’s computer, which is located near the meeting room. Use the computer in the manager’s room and you’ll find four different codes. Only one of these codes is correct.

If you take a closer look, a blacklight reveals the fingerprints on the vault’s keypad. Use the revealed numbers to figure out the correct code out of the four. For example, if the code is “1024”, and there are no fingerprints on the number 4, then this code will not open the vault.

How to enter the vault (Loud)

If your Payday 3 crew has been discovered by the guards or set off the alarms, you’ll have to force your way into the vault. To do so, take a hostage while one of your crew members goes to the bank’s parking lot. A helicopter will arrive, dropping a bag of thermite. Alternatively, you can also find a few thermite bags scattered across different parts of the building.

Carry the thermite bag to the second floor, and throw it on the small area to the close left of the door. Ignite the thermite, and add more bags to the fire to speed up the process.

Burning thermite to enter the SCB banks vault in Payday 3
Burning the floor above the vault will attract a lot of attention and police assault.

However, since you’re detected, police will assault you and turn on the sprinkler system as well to set off the fire. You can turn off the sprinklers through the red fire panel, found somewhere on the second floor. Keep in mind that it’s essential to turn off the sprinklers as they significantly slow down the thermite burning off the floor.

After the thermite burns the floor, your crew can drop into the vault through the hole to get to the next stage of the No Rest for the Wicked heist in Payday 3.

How to loot the vault

Once you enter the vault in the No Rest for the Wicked heist in Payday 3, you’ll have to pick the lock on the security cage to access the money bags. This is a long but easy lock to pick. After this, make sure your crew is quick to disarm the timers on all the dye packs in the money bags.

You cannot loot the money bag ruined by a dye pack. Make sure, at least two members of your crew are disarming the dye packs, as there are eight money bags in the vault. Unfortunately, if you’re a solo player, there’s not enough time to disarm all the dye packs.

How to escape

Load up all the money bags into the back of the van to escape.

Carry the loot to the parking lot or the street and avoid drawing civilians’ attention. If the police are attacking you, the road barriers will prevent your getaway car from arriving on time. If this happens, make your way to the boulevard. Find the big white electrical boxes, and turn off the road barriers.

Once your getaway car arrives, load as many bags as you can in it. Finally, your crew needs to stand next to the vehicle and No Rest for the Wicked heist will end.

That’s all you need to know to complete the No Rest for the Wicked heist in Payday 3. For more on Payday 3, make sure to check out the following:
