Swinging around New York is one of the best things to do in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 but it certainly isn’t the quickest way to reach your destination. With this in mind, here’s how to unlock Fast Travel in Spider-Man 2.

Spider-Man 2 aims to double down on everything that made the 2018 title so beloved. The PS5 exclusive features a bigger open world, new suits, and some of the web slinger’s most iconic villains. The web swinging from prior titles has also seen an upgrade through new animations and the newly-introduced web wings.

All this more and more makes traveling around the city pretty enjoyable. However, swinging through multiple districts to get to your destination can take up plenty of time. So if you’re looking to get from point A to point B quickly, here’s how to unlock Fast Travel in Spider-Man 2.

Is there Fast Travel in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?

Yes, Spider-Man 2 has a Fast Travel mechanic. It’s nearly instant as well and it transports players to any location of their choice within seconds. But Fast Travel won’t be available out of the gate as players will need to unlock it first.

How to unlock Fast Travel in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

To unlock Fast Travel in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, players will need to reach level 2 District Progress for each area on the map. Leveling up Districts requires players to complete activities and find collectibles within each district. From stopping crimes to finding Spider-Bots, all of it adds to the District’s Progress.

These activities are usually fairly easy to find but you can use the map for a bit of guidance. Icons for various activities within every area should pop up on the map.

Once you’ve unlocked Fast Travel, open up the map and press Triangle on any location within the District. You’ll find yourself in the location in the blink of an eye.
