Lords of the Fallen is regarded as one of the most ambitious soulslike titles of 2023. After its release on October 13, the game quickly gathered a large fanbase due to its immersive world and exploration, as it offered one of the most popular Halloween events of this year.
Exploration is a major aspect of the game as you will have to dive into various areas to unlock further objectives. Getting the Tancred’s Key is one of the most important objectives that you must complete to get the “good” ending in LOTF.
Here’s how to get Tancred’s Key in Lords of the Fallen.
Lords of the Fallen: How to get Tancred’s Key
To get Tancred’s Key in Lords of the Fallen, you will have to beat Tancred, Master of Castigations, and Reinhold the Immuned, right at the bottom of Tower of Penance.
This is one of the major boss fights that you cannot skip if you wish to get the Radiant Ending in Lords of the Fallen, as this boss is the guardian of the Tower of Penance beacon. It will be a two-phase boss fight so it is recommended that you plant a Vestige Seed right at the entrance of the arena.
You can make this fight easier by seeking help from one of your comrades and simply dodging at the right moments to find an opening. Make sure that you have equipped a high-damage weapon, for example, the big Strength weapons, such as the Sword of Skin & Tooth.
Once you have defeated this boss, you will automatically get the key as a drop. Then, you will find an elevator that you can unlock with it right outside the dark path that you took to get to the Vestige bed. Take that and move up twice to cleanse the beacon and make your way to the Abbey of Hallowed Sentinels towards the Judge Cleric boss.
That was everything you need to know about getting Tancred’s Key in Lords of the Fallen. For more on the game, check out our other guides:
