1. Angel of Void armor set

The Angel of Void is a great armor set for early game.

After defeating The Congregator of Flesh, you will soon find a Vestige called the Forsaken Fen. There you will have to open the door beside the Vestige by moving around the entire area. Once you open the door, move ahead, solve a puzzle involving an Umbral eye, and you will soon reach a chest harboring the armor in Lords of the Fallen.

2. Pieta’s armor set

After you defeat Pieta and unlock the Skyrest Bridge, you can take her Remembrance and bring it to Molhu to trade it and get her armor In Lords of the Fallen.

Pieta’s armor is a balance armor with both heavy and medium pieces and has great stats and defenses. Although you might struggle a bit to maintain your encumbrance due to all the weight, a few points invested into Endurance will just do the trick in the game.

3. Antique Hallowed Sentinel armor set

The Antique Hallowed Sentinel armor set in Lords of the Fallen is another heavy armor set that you will have to pair with a different leg piece, as the armor set has only three pieces. However, it offers great defenses and can carry you through a good chunk of the game.

The Antique Hallowed Sentinel is a great heavy armor choice.

You can get it from a chest near the Vestige of Agatha or the Bellroom Vestige in Pilgrim’s Perch. As it was with Pieta’s armor, a few points into Endurance can help you out if you are lacking in carry limit in the game.

4. Hallowed Knight armor set

Another variation of the Antique Hallowed Sentinel armor set is the Hallowed Knight armor set in Lords of the Fallen. With similar stats and defenses. You can definitely choose either of them as the Hallowed Knight armor set is a bit lighter with both heavy and medium armor in it.

You can either start off with the Hallowed Knight in Lords of the Fallen to get this armor by default or buy it from the Captain of Fidelis in Skyrest Bridge for a few Vigor if you started with another class. Either way, it is a great armor set to rely on.

5. Ardent Penitent armor set

The Ardent Penitent armor set is a great choice in Lords of the Fallen if you want maximum defense in the early game. You can farm the Ardent Penitent enemies, the ones with the spiked metal buckets on their heads. Yes, you can get yours too.
