Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth features a new way for Ichiban to traverse the vast streets of Hawaii, so here’s how you can unlock your own Street Surfer Segway in Yakuza’s latest title.

Fighting through the streets of Japan is a never-ending theme of every Yakuza game. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth takes players out of Yokohama, Osaka, or Tokyo, and flies straight to the beaches of Hawaii.

Honolulu is a big city with tons of Side Stories to complete, and many main story chapters to tackle in the new US setting. This time around, Ichiban has a completely new way to traverse the map in Hawaii.

Here’s how to obtain the Street Surfer Segway in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and surf the streets with Ichiban like a champ.

How to unlock Street Surfer Segway in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

To unlock the Street Surfer Segway in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, players will have to complete the main story up until Chapter 3. Once there, a new side story called “Surfing’ the Streets!” will be unlocked and once you finish it, Ichiban will get the brand-new means of transport for free.

Go around Honolulu faster than ever with Ichiban’s own Segway.

The “Surfing the Streets!” side story can be found on Seaside Avenue, south of the ABC Shop on the Honolulu map. Once you reach the quest location, the game will automatically trigger a cutscene and start the mission to unlock the Segway.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – How to use Segway

To use the Street Surfer Segway in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth at any available location, you need to press down on the D-pad once unlocked.

The Segway runs on a battery, so once it depletes, Ichiban will need to run to a Segway charging station to charge up the battery. He can also customize the Segway’s color and tires.

Keep in mind that this transport is faster than running, and you can also press R2 to automatically drive to a designated map location.
