Moon Studios will focus on perfecting No Rest for the Wicked Single Player mode first. So, will you need to be always online when trying its Early Access?

No Rest of the Wicked is the latest action RPG of Moon Studios, responsible for Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. With a focus on strategy and deliberate attacks, players will need to gather resources to survive and ensure their Stamina while exploring Isola Sacra island.

If you’re excited to try No Rest of the Wicked but wonder if you’ll always need a stable connection, here’s everything you should know.

Can you play No Rest for the Wicked offline?

Yes, you can play No Rest for the Wicked offline since it won’t be needed in Single Player. This was confirmed by Moon Studios co-founder Gennadiy Korol on his X account.

The developer said that No Rest for the Wicked was “built from the ground up with multiplayer in mind,” but their team wanted to offer a rich Offline Mode. “We did not want offline play to feel like a second thought, and we want people to be able to play on the go when connection quality is not always ideal,” they said.

No Rest for the Wicked Early Access will be released on April 18, 2024, and Moon Studios will focus on consolidating its offline mode first.
