The latest installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, is nearing its release. If Mirage will be your first time tuning into these historical espionage stories, now is the perfect time to play some of the franchise’s previous notable entries.

Ubisoft have shared that they’ll be hosting a free weekend for five previous Assassin’s Creed games, and some discounts on the franchise during the same period. The range of titles includes both the latest games, as well as some of the classics.

Here are all the details to play Assassin’s Creed games for free.

You can play Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations for free during a select time on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

However, you won’t be able to play all of these games on all platforms easily. Here is a breakdown, as per information provided by Ubisoft, of which games are available on each platform:

  • Xbox: Players will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription and only then will they get free access for the duration. All five titles are available for Gold subscribers.
