How to glide in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Disney Dreamlight Valley has added a new method that you can use to move around the map much faster. Gameloft’s update 4 has added the ability to hover and here is all you need to know about it.
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, moving around to do various tasks is a hassle. A slow pace of movement can make completing quests, foraging items, and fulfilling other objectives difficult. Fans are happy to see this new addition to the ever-evolving Disney Dreamlight Valley.
The ability to glide along the map has been made active since April 5, 2023. Ever since update 4 dropped, we have seen plenty of new characters such as Simba and Nala along with a new realm. To explore all this, you need to move a little faster, and just all of that becomes easier with this new ability.
What do you need to hover in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are a few prerequisites you need to know before you can start to hover around the map in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Firstly, you need to activate the Well-Fed bonus by eating hearty meals. You need to eat well-cooked meals to overfill your energy bar.
Once the Well-Fed bonus is active, you will see the energy bar turning to gold. Thus, you will be able to achieve critical actions such as mining gems, and foraging items, along with the ability to hover around the map.
How to hover to increase movement speed in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, once the Well-Fed bonus is active, you will notice a significant increase in your character’s movement speed. At the same time, you will be able to see a Sprint option on the left-hand side bottom of the screen.
You need to press the Shift key on the PC, the B button on Xbox/Switch, and Circle on PlayStation to glide around the map in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
When you glide around the map, there are chances that your energy will reduce. If you use up all the additional energy you gained by eating meals to activate the Well-Fed bonus, you will lose the ability to hover. Your character will start moving at a slower pace until you eat more cooked meals to restore your bonus.
Well, that’s all you need to know to glide around in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
