There’s a lot you can buy in Helldivers 2 through in-game currencies like the Super Credits. To help you get your hands on new gear and cosmetic items, here are the best ways to get Super Credits for free in Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2 launched on Steam alongside the PlayStation 5 and although the franchise is fairly popular, not many anticipated the new title to break several player count records on PC. Despite server errors, the core gameplay that revolves around fighting aliens and unlocking Armour has received a positive response.

Helldivers 2 also features premium currencies like Super Credits that can be purchased for real money but as it turns out, there are a few ways to get them for free.

So, here’s everything to know about getting free Super Credits in Helldivers 2.

What are Super Credits in Helldivers 2?

Super Credits in Helldivers 2 are the premium currency players can spend in the Superstore of the Acquisition Centre located on your ship. These can be spent to get new gear and cosmetics, and players can use real-world money to get them.

However, Helldivers 2 isn’t too heavy on microtransactions, which means players have different ways to get them for free during their playthrough.

How to obtain free Super Credits in Helldivers 2

Helldivers 2 players can earn Super Credits for free via Warbonds or by searching POIs during their missions.

Warbonds are the Helldivers 2 version of a Battle Pass, and you’ll earn these medals simply by completing objectives. You’ll earn more Warbonds on higher difficulties, so keep that in mind. Once you have enough Warbonds, you can spend them on the free Battle Pass to get weapons, armor, emotes, and other cosmetics alongside Super Credits.

On the other hand, you can also get Super Credits by looting caches and beacons on POIs during missions. Like in the first Helldivers, you have a primary objective that’s usually to eliminate all threats. However, if you like exploring, you’ll find useful resources lying on the different maps. You can spot these POIs marked with a diamond icon on the map.

It’s worth noting that there’s a very low chance you get Super Credits with this second method, but it’s worth a try.

Once you have enough Super Credits, you can spend them to get the premium version of the Warbonds Battle Pass. Players reported that completing missions in the campaign gives you a steady income of free Super Credits.
