Epic Games announced a new skin collaboration with the legendary fighting game franchise Street Fighter, and here’s everything you need to know about it, including the release date.

Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 has already delivered a ton of new cosmetic skins for players to get their hands on, including the Assassins Creed Ezio bundle and Marvel superhero Doctor Strange.

Now, Epic Games are shifting their focus to yet another iconic video game franchise by bringing new Street Fighter skins to Fortnite.

Here’s how you can secure the Street Fighter Fortnite skins and participate in the Blanka & Sakura Cup.

Epic Games announced that the latest Street Fighter bundles are available in Fortnite as of Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 8 PM ET | 5 PM PT | 1 AM BST, bringing joy to fighting game fans who play the battle royale.

This isn’t the first crossover between Fortnite and Street Fighter as Chun-Li, Ryu, Guile, and Cammy had previously made their way to Epic’s battle royale. However, given Blanka and Sakura’s popularity amongst fans of the franchise these bundles could be the best yet.

Blanka is one of the most fearsome fighters in the Street Fighter franchise and Fortnite players will look ferocious while playing as the green beast. Meanwhile, Sakura may not boast the same green look but she’s just as fearsome a fighter as Blanka.

  • Blanka Delgado alt style
  • Blanka Backflip Emote
  • Blanka-Chan Back Bling

How to get Street Fighter Blanka & Sakura skins in Fortnite

The Fortnite Blanka & Sakura bundles will be available in the in-game Item shop, and as always, you can purchase them either by using V-Bucks earned through the Battle Pass or by spending real money.

You’ll be able to grab both of their skins and accessories in the Item Shop to celebrate 35 years of Street Fighter. Players can purchase the following items:

  • Blanka – Outfit – 1,600 V-Bucks
  • Sakura – Outfit – 1,600 V-Bucks
  • Tropical Hazard Kebab – Pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
  • Fighting Tournament Trophy – Pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
  • Kayari Buta – Glider – 800 V-Bucks
  • Gear – Tropical Hazard Kebab, Fighting Tournament Trophy, Kayari Buta – 1,600 V-Bucks
  • Sakura & Blanka – Bundle – 2,200 V-Bucks

You’ll have the option to purchase specific items separately or opt for the bundle. If we compare these items to other bundles, the 1,600 to 2,200 V-Bucks price is in the same ballpark.

What is the Blanka & Sakura Cup in Fortnite

The latest Street Fighter crossover also brought forth the Blanka & Sakura Cup. There were two separate events and the first of these was on mobile-only. The second event included all platforms, and the top players of both events unlocked the Bonus Stage Loading Screen.

The mobile Blanka & Sakura Cup took place on April 27 and it was a Zero-Build Duos competition where “competitors can play up to ten matches within their region’s three-hour time window.”

Meanwhile, the second Blanka & Sakura Cup took place on April 28 “in Fortnite on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android.”
