The Sims 4: How to customize your Loading Screen

The Sims 4 will let you change your Loading Screen to whatever image you want, as long as it has the “.package” files that will let you use it in the game. If you already downloaded your favorite Loading Screen from a Sims Content Creator, here’s what you need to do to change it in-game:

  1. Find a custom Loading Screen that you want to use on any Sims 4 CC page or from CC creators.
  2. Download it and unzip the file. Most Loading Screens come with their own Mod “.package” files.
  3. Go to your Sims 4 Mod folder, which is located by default in “Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods.”
  4. Open your game, go to the Options Menu, select “Other,” and then check the box next to “Enable Custom Content and Mods.”
  5. Restart your game for the changes to take effect. You’ll need to completely close the game and then relaunch it.
