If you give a Gnome their preferred gift, they’ll reward you with a pack of seeds.

However, each Gnome has different likes and dislikes. If you gift them an item they like, a golden halo will appear on top of their heads, and they’ll reward you with a packet of seeds every day until the next Harvestfest. If they dislike your gift, a flame will float on top of their hat.
