Although not official, leaks have pretty much confirmed that version 4.4 of Genshin Impact will bring three skins, one for Ganyu, Shenhe, and Xingqiu each. Now, leakers have shared the full design, and players don’t appear to be all that flattered.

We’re only several weeks away from the potential January 31 release of Genshin Impact version 4.4, which is almost certainly Liyue-heavy as it’ll feature Lantern Rite. As always, leaks have already revealed plenty of surprises and events, including skins.

The only thing confirmed officially for version 4.4 of Genshin Impact is that it will feature Xianyun and Gaming in the limited banner. More will be revealed in the Special Program livestream, but players have already shared their thoughts on Xianyun’s kit.

With the leaked skin images finding their way online, Genshin Impact players have mixed feelings. On the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit, where the skins were shared, many found the color choice of black and blue in the skin “predictable” and “boring.”

One user said (yelled to be fair): “IS YOUR F***KING DESIGN TEAM COLOR BLIND OR SOMETHING. I LIKE BLUE AS MUCH AS THE NEXT PERSON BUT COME F***KING ON.” Another user said, “Oh look! It’s blue! Who would have guessed!”

Many users pointed out that Xingqiu’s skin is similar to another character, Furina: “bro thinks he’s Furina.” Others echoed the same, saying, “Bro got Furina’d”

Elsewhere on X, the reception of leaks was much different, while plenty shared the same sentiment, many were flattered by how it looked.

But players, even on X, pointed out the similarities in skins between Xingqiu and Furina, “Why is Xingqiu cosplaying Furina?” Another user said, “As much as I love new skins…can we have something different than blue for once?”

While the leaks are certainly true based on the images and reliability of leakers, the actual looks of the skin may look different from the leaks, as they are only low-quality images.
