Everybody’s favorite Oni is back once again in Genshin Impact 4.3, hosting his world-famous Beetle fights, now called Arataki Blazing Armor Beetle Battle Boot Camp. If you find it difficult, here is a complete guide to the Beetle Battle event to dominate every round.

Continuing from his previous successful event, Almighty Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl, Itto is once again hosting his much-anticipated Beetle Battle event in Genshin Impact version 4.3. The event is a final stop before version 4.4, which is said to be one of the bigger patches featuring Xianyun and Gaming.

The Beetle event is similar to the last one seen in Genshin Impact version 3.4, and you’ll meet all the familiar characters, Kuki Shinobu, Yanfei, Xiangling, and, of course, the king himself, Itto, and Grandmaster Hanakado.

Each day a new challenger will arrive with their Beetle, and some have unique attacks.

How to start Genshin Impact 4.3 Beetle Battle event

To play Genshin Impact 4.3 Arataki Blazing Armor Beetle Battle Boot Camp, you’ll need to reach Adventure Rank 20 and have completed Archon Quest Prologue Act 3, The Song of the Dragon and Freedom.

If you’ve completed the requisite, just track it from the quest menu and head to Wanmin Restaurant in Liyue. The event quest will be triggered and after you complete it, you’ll be able to play the event.

How to play Genshin Impact 4.3 Beetle Battle event

Genshin Impact 4.3’s Arataki Blazing Armor Beetle Battle Boot Camp is similar to the last event but now the enemy Beetle does a new firing bullet attack and a new guard move set to counter the added attack.

You can move back and forward, and perform a normal quick attack as well as a charged attack that lunges you forward, covering a large distance and dealing massive damage. The new guard move can only avoid firing bullets.

There are three difficulties—Friendly Spar, Focused Fight, and Utmost Might — and you only need to complete the lowest difficulty, Friendly Spar, for Primogems. All Beetles and their masters you’ll compete against will be standing in front of the arena, just talk to them to start a spar, it can be tracked directly from the event menu as well.

As for the fights themselves, the first difficulty is super easy. If you’re struggling with higher difficulties, the best strategy is to just wait for the opening, and the best opening is right after the enemy has completed their attack.

You can wait for the enemy to conclude their move or interrupt them by striking yours at the right time.

All enemy attacks and their range of damage will be marked on the floor, stay just in distance of the attack and once the enemy is done, you can charge forward with your attack. For fire attacks, you’ll see a colored purple aura in the enemies’ Beetle.

Here are the rewards for the Genshin Impact 4.3 Arataki Blazing Armor Beetle Battle Boot Camp event:

Friendly Spar difficulty: x80 Primogem and x4 Hero’s Wit.
Focused Fight difficulty: ×40,000 Mora and x4 upgrade materials.
Utmost Might difficulty: x20,000 Mora and x4 Enchanted Ore.

So, the most important resource, Primogems, is locked behind Friendly Spar difficulty, which is extraordinarily easy.
