Like most DiRT games, the focus of EA Sports WRC is also on authentic rally racing, so here is the breakdown of the difficulty setting as well as how to change it.

Being a WRC-title game EA Sports WRC will be tough, as it is the toughest motorsport. Unless you’ve mastered the many iconic racecourses, you’ll find your cars struggling on every corner.

Luckily, EA Sports WRC is also a welcoming WRC game, as you can customize the difficulty settings and turn on many assists to help you.

So, here are all the difficult settings and how to change them in EA Sports WRC.

How to change difficulty in EA Sports WRC

In EA Sports WRC, you can change the difficulty when you start a rally, and to do so, just head into the “Options and Extra” in the pre-rally menu. You can also change it in the pause menu, or Results hub.

You’ll also be given a general difficulty setting as you start: Beginner, Experience, and Pro. These will affect everything, from AI performance to assists. You can, however, overwrite and change these settings later on.

All difficulty settings in EA Sports WRC explained

In the EA Sports WRC difficulty settings, you’ll find two options. Here is the breakdown of both:

  • AI Performance: On a scale of 1 to 100, with 1 being the easiest and 100 being the hardest.
    • In general Rally, it decides the time you’ll be given to beat, and in Regularity, it’ll determine the amount of penalties.
  • Hardcore Damage: If turned on, your car’s damage will affect your handling and other performances.

If you’ve selected the Pro preset in the beginning, both of these settings will be on the highest possible value by default.

Remember, these are different from all the assists. If you want to customize your experience a bit more, you can head into the assist menu and turn on or off all the assists you want. The assist menu can also be found in the options and extras menu.
