Does EA Sports WRC have microtransactions?

Codemasters have already laid out all the post-launch plans for EA Sports WRC, here’s whether it also means the racer will have in-game purchases in the form of microtransactions.  

Plenty of racing games feature in-game purchases, whether it be simple premium credits or something like car packs and battle passes. EA Sports WRC itself has a Rally Pass system, but what about microtransactions?

Racing fans have never found microtransactions all that flattering, as they feel it locks some of the best cars behind a paywall and often makes the base game grindy unless you cough up some real money.

So here’s if EA Sports WRC has any form of in-game purchases like boosters and car packs.  

Will there be microtransactions in EA Sports WRC? 

No, EA Sports WRC will not have microtransactions. Not only that, Codemasters confirmed that they won’t lock cars or tracks behind any form of paywall.

EA Sports WRC is set to receive a post-launch map, the Central European Rally, and it’ll be available to all players for free. Also, all the contents available in the Rally Pass system are cosmetics only. 

The only content that is gated behind a paywall is EA Play subscribers getting access to seven exclusive additional Moments, but all 78 cars and tracks will be available for everyone.
