The new title from Bandai Namco, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, calls for the return of the Budokai Tenkaichi series along with the most recent characters from the saga.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero release date

Bandai Namco confirmed during Summer Game Fest 2024 that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will be released on October 11, 2024.

Bandai Namco have already held the first gameplay showcase of Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero. In it, the developer Jun Furutani explained and showcased some new features that players will notice in each combat.

All Dragon Ball Sparking Zero characters revealed so far

Bandai Namco teased Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero will have 164 fighters, but they have revealed 37 characters so far. It’s worth noting that some of them, like Goku and Vegeta, have different playable versions. Thus, the number of confirmed characters has risen to 82 so far.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero platforms

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Bandai Namco confirms this at the end of each trailer/showcase of the game.

As a result, last-gen console players such as PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch users will be left out from playing the new title in the Budokai Tenkaichi series.
