Every year, Dragon Ball Legends celebrates its anniversary with a massive event that packs many challenges you can complete to get rewards, and the Dragon Hunt is an exciting activity from the event.

You’ll need Dragon Balls to summon Shenron, some of which can be acquired by scanning your friends’ QR codes.

How to get Dragon Ball Legends QR codes

You can get QR codes for the Dragon Hunt event in two specific ways:

  • You can ask your friends who play the game to share their QR code with you.
  • Alternatively, you can copy their friend code and use it to generate a QR code, which you can scan later on.

If you’re trying to share a code with your friend, or vice versa, here’s how you can do it:

  1. Access Dragon Ball Legends, and navigate to the Dragon Hunt event page
  2. Here you will find an option that says “Get Code”
  3. Click on this and it should give you a QR code
  4. All you need to do now is to scan this code

Alternatively, you can generate your friends’ QR codes using their in-game “friend code.” Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Head to your friend list, and tap on the badge icon on one of your friends’ cards
  2. This should open a new window with their code
  3. Copy this code and make your way to this code generator website. This website is a third-party website, so use it at your discretion
  4. You can generate up to three QR codes simultaneously provided you have three friend codes
  5. Now, all you need to do is scan them and claim your rewards

How to scan QR codes

  1. Under the Dragon Hunt event, you’ll have a “Scan Code” option beside the “Get Code” option
  2. Click on “Scan Code” and your device will ask you to grant camera permissions to the game
  3. Grant the permission, and then use your camera to either scan the QR code on your friend’s device, or the ones that you’ve generated

You can scan three QR codes every day, and these codes are valid for one day only. If you’re using the code of someone who’s not a friend, you will be prompted to add them as a friend first.

You will have to wait until they accept your friend request before being allowed to scan their code to redeem the rewards.

How to summon Shenron

To summon Shenron you need to collect a total of seven Dragon Balls, just like in the anime. You will get four of these items just by scanning your friends’ QR codes.

Shenron is a mythical creature from the Dragon Ball franchise.

To collect the remaining three Dragon Balls, you will have to complete challenges associated with “Thanks for 6 Years! Anniversary Special Mission Rewards.”

Once you’ve collected all seven Dragon Balls, you will be able to summon Shenron from the Dragon Hunt event page itself.

Rewards

  • 1,000 Chrono Crystals
  • Ramen Cup collectible trophy, Vegeta’s Recommendation title
  • 10x EN Tank +100, x1,000 Skip Tickets
  • 500,000,000 Zeni, 200 Gold Bars
  • 100 Gold Bells, 250 Silver Bells

You’ll be able to select only one of the rewards mentioned above. No matter what reward you select, you will be rewarded with special sleeves and the Come Forth, Shenron! 6th Anniversary! title.

QR codes, events, and surveys are the only way to get free rewards in Dragon Ball Legends. Unlike Roblox experiences such as Vehicle Legends, Car Dealership Tycoon, and Miner’s Haven, the mobile game does not support redeem codes.
