Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is Don’t Nod’s newest title for the action RPG community. With a haunted touch to the gameplay, players can not only take on challenging enemies but also uncover spooky secrets in the mysterious world of New Eden.

As you progress through the game, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the environment a bit by exploring the areas. Most importantly, you might even stumble upon some valuable hidden loot that could prove to be extremely helpful for your playthrough.

The Occultist’s Equipment is one of the first locked chests in the game, and here’s how you can get in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.

Where to find Occultist’s Equipment in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

You can get the Occultist’s Equipment in the starting area, known as The Dark Woods after acquiring its key in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. This area is unlocked right around the beginning of the game, and you will soon find yourself moving through it in the first two or three hours.

As you progress through this area, the game will continue its tutorials until it asks you to learn about using Antea’s power and taking her hand to destroy Spectral Webs.

After completing all of that, you will find the Occultist’s Equipment Key in the corner of the room after removing the final Spectral Web, which is necessary to get the item you are looking for in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.

The Occultist’s Equipment is found in The Dark Woods.

Once you get the key, follow these steps:

Move along the path to encounter a pack of Wolves and the Wanderer possessing them.
Defeat the group and continue heading West, until you reach a split path.
Head right and fight off more Wanderers.
Finally, climb the wall to find the Occultist’s Equipment chest.

The fight with three possessed Wolves can be made easier with Antea’s help as she can inflict bonus damage on them. Once you are done with the Wolves, get ready to fight the Wanderer ghost as well, and defeat it in the same way.

Now keep heading west until you reach a split path, and drop down to your right. After a quick fight, you will find a climbable wall in the area. Finally, scale the wall to find the Occultist’s Equipment chest, which has a new gear for you known as the Spiritual Necklace.

Spiritual Necklace stats in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

The Spiritual Necklace is one of the first powerful amulets that you can get in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Alongside its normal bonuses, it reduces the damage taken by Antea by 5%.

Its in-depth stats are:

Spirit points gain: 10
Spectral resistance: 14%
Wisdom: 1
Wrath: 1
Persistence: 10
Special effect: Damage taken by Antea is reduced by 5%.
