Alan Wake 2 release date
Alan Wake 2 will be released on October 17, 2023, as revealed by the gameplay trailer during the PlayStation Showcase on May 24.
With this release date, players can pre-order Alan Wake 2 right now and receive some bonus content such as a Revolver skin and Survival Resources Pack for Saga.

Alan Wake 2 will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC come October 17, 2023.
Currently, it does not look like the game will be released on the previous generation of consoles, so for those on PS4 and Xbox One, you’ll have to wait until you upgrade to play Alan Wake 2.
Alan Wake 2 story & gameplay details
Alan Wake 2’s story continues from the original and revolves around a “string of ritualistic murders” and “supernatural darkness” that haunts and corrupts the locals of a small town called “Bright Falls.”
Players will follow and control both FBI Agent Saga Anderson and horror writer Alan Wake as they attempt to “break free from the desolate horror story they’re trapped in.” The sequel will feature similar gameplay to the Alan Wake Remaster, using a flashlight to traverse through spooky, unsettling environments.
For those who haven’t played the original, have no fear, as Remedy Games revealed that players can “easily dive into the sequel without any prior experience or knowledge of the game’s story.”

Remedy Entertainment have revealed two trailers for Alan Wake 2 so far, a reveal and gameplay trailer.
In the reveal trailer, players got a cinematic teaser, providing players with a sneak peek at what’s to come.
During the PlayStation showcase on May 24, 2023, the devs revealed a gameplay trailer for Alan Wake 2, as well as the release date for the title.
