Epic Games has already added cosmetics and the Flint Knock pistol to the game, and the Event Pass will be added shortly.

Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean crossover release date

The Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration will arrive on July 19, 2024, as revealed by Epic Games after accidentally releasing the Cursed Sails Event Pass early.

While the Event Pass was pulled from the Item Shop, players who’ve already purchased it will be able to retain it but won’t be able to progress through the levels until it goes live on the scheduled date.

Leaked map changes for Pirates crossover

Leaks revealed that the Pirates of the Caribbean event will get a dedicated Landmark once the Fortnite event goes live. This Landmark will include the iconic Black Pearl ship along with a pier featuring Davy Jones’ flag at the center of the Island.

Apart from the Black Pearl, masts of sunken ships can also be seen in the area. The leaks also suggest that the Captain Barbossa NPC will be present at this POI.

All Pirates of the Caribbean skins

Elizabeth Swann, Davy Jones, and Captain Barbossa are currently available in the Fortnite Item Shop, and you can purchase them individually or as a complete bundle

  • Elizabeth Swann bundle (Includes the Elizabeth’s Favor Pickaxe and Dead Man’s Chest Backbling) – 1,600 V-Bucks
  • Davy Jones (Includes Norrington’s Sacrifice and Lil Kraken Backbling) – 1,600 V-Bucks
  • Captain Barbossa skin – 1,500 V-Bucks

The Jack Sparrow skin will be available in the Event Pass which is scheduled to live on July 19, 2024.

New & unvaulted items in Pirates of the Caribbean Fortnite crossover

The Flint-Knock Pistol is currently available on the island but Epic Games has also confirmed that the Treasure Maps, and the Pirate Cannon will be unvaulted once the crossover goes live.

A new Mythic item is also scheduled to go live, which is a ghost pirate ship players can ride to damage enemies, vehicles, and structures. Leaked footage shows the item in action, but it’s likely Epic will make some changes to it before adding it to this season’s pool.

Apart from the Battle Royale, it’s also been suggested that a new map called The Pirate Adventure will be added to the Rocket Racing mode too. We’ll make sure to update this article once we know more about what’s coming.

A lot of other crossovers, including the one with Fall Guys and new Jujutsu Kaisen characters will also be going live in the game soon. Apart from that, the T-60 Power Armor and the Nuka-Cola from Fallout are currently available in the game alongside X-Men’s Magneto skin and Mythic.
