No, Epic Games haven’t yet announced any information about the Fortnite X Men ’97 collab, and leakers haven’t revealed its release window either.

The v29.40 update that added a new Star Wars collaboration contains files that tease X-Men skins. However, considering Chapter 5 Season 2 ends on May 24, 2024, players have little hope for the highly-anticipated outfits this season.

Possible Fortnite X-Men ’97 skins

There are four X-Men ’97 skins that are rumored to appear in the Fortnite collaboration, each of which is a popular character that fans will recognize. Check them out below:

• Jean Grey
• Magneto

These characters are the ones with more screen time in the animated TV show, so it’s no wonder they’re getting outfits. However, this could be the first collab of many, as it happened before with other franchises like My Hero Academia or Star Wars.

Rocket League already received X-Men ’97 cosmetics on April 20, so players were expecting the crossover to arrive in the battle royale shortly after, considering the show is releasing its three-part season finale. On the other hand, some players believe the collab will arrive on Chapter 5 Season 3 or even later, with a new rumored Marvel-themed season.
