The TMNT Cowabunga event brought news quests to check out in Fortnite, and if you want to complete the time travel into the future slowly objective and stack up on Ooze, here’s all you need to know.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event is live in Fortnite, after many teasers from developer Epic Games. With new skins and the Cowabunga Clash Quests, the event has tons of new things for players to tackle.

In between rumors about a new One Piece crossover, and many new quests added to the game with the Cowabunga Event, players will need to grind to get it all. Among all those new quests, the TMNT event has an objective that is confusing players.

Here’s how to quickly complete the Cowabunga Clash Quest objective ‘Time Travel into the future…slowly’ in Fortnite Chapter 5.

How to time travel into the future slowly in Fortnite

Players need to play in a Battle Royale match for a total of 300 seconds (5 minutes) to ‘Time Travel into the future…slowly’ in Fortnite.

The time will count towards your quest completion bar even if you die in-game and just spectate the match. So, be sure to not leave if you get killed instantly, and wait 5 minutes to complete the TMNT event quest.

You can also jump into another match and play until the objective is completed. When you do it, you will then receive 300 Ooze. Even with a confusing title, Epic Games made sure that the time travel quest with the TMNT is easy enough for any player to complete it naturally.
