Fortnite Icon skins will be getting LEGO variants in an upcoming patch. Following this, more skins could get their LEGO variants in future updates.

The Fortnite Icon skin series has always been reserved for real-life celebrities and influencers. This skin line was first introduced in Chapter 2 Season 1, and Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was the first one to receive their very own Icon Series skin.

Considering that most of these Icon skins were released before the LEGO Fortnite mode went live, none of them have the LEGO variants. However, as revealed by popular content creator Alastair “Ali-A” Aiken, his Icon series skin will receive a LEGO variant after the update on January 23.

The Ali-A Icon skin will be available in the Fortnite item shop from 7 PM ET on January 23. It is unclear if the other Icon skins will be available in the shop as well. However, considering that he’s getting a LEGO variant, the other skins in the series should also come with their LEGO variant once they make an appearance in the shop.

Furthermore, players who already own the Ali-A Icon series skin will not have to buy the LEGO variant once it goes live in the game. Additionally, those who purchase the Ali-A skin when it’s in the Item Shop now will get the LEGO variant as well.

The same should hold for the other Icon series skins as well. With just a few hours remaining before the next Fortnite update goes live, it will be worth seeing which Icon series skins make a return once again.

Furthermore, it will be interesting to see if the Travis Scott skin returns to the item shop in this rotation. The skin was allegedly removed in 2021 following the Astroworld tragedy. However, in 2023, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney mentioned that the star’s skin was welcome to return to Fortnite, but wasn’t aware of the Item Shop rotations, so couldn’t confirm a date.

As for the Fortnite update on January 23, the developers haven’t mentioned anything about the downtime. Considering that it’s been 45 days since the last update, this one could add new content to the game. As of now, the Fortnite servers are live, but Epic Games could take them down in the next few hours. Do check out our server status guide to know more about the server downtime.
