EA FC 24 has a fresh set of ratings that were handed out to players based on their performances last season. As is the case every year, some ratings stand out for being far too low for the player in question. So here are our picks for the five worst EA FC 24 ratings, all of which deserve an upgrade already.

EA FC 24 brings many new features to the long-running franchise. Besides highlights such as female players in Ultimate Team, the game has introduced significant changes to Career Mode. For Ultimate Team fans, the devs have lined up a bunch of promos and brand collaborations for the rest of the year.

Of course, the core experience still revolves around the football stars players take control of on the pitch. EA FC 24 can boast of more than 17,000 players in its database. All of them have been assigned a rating based on their performances last season. Sadly, many fans agree that not all ratings are fair assessments of the player and some are in dire need of an upgrade.

With this in mind, here are our picks for the five worst ratings in EA FC 24 that deserve an upgrade already.

Worst ratings in EA FC 24

Here are our picks for the worst ratings in EA FC 24, featuring players from four different leagues:

Mathys Tel

Mathys Tel’s EA FC 24 rating is a bit low for a striker of his quality.

Mathys Tel is one of the most promising young strikers anywhere in the world. The Frenchman made his Ligue 1 debut at the tender age of 16 before being recruited by German giants Bayern Munich less than a year later. Since then, he’s gone on to become the club’s youngest goalscorer in a competitive game.

Despite his young age, the 18-year-old is chock-full of composure, flair, pace, and tenacity, which makes his EA FC 24 rating all the more surprising. Beyond the meager rating, his classification as a silver card really misses the mark.

Julian Alvarez

Julian Alvarez leads the frontline for the best national team in the world.

Many thought that a season with a World Cup triumph, a treble with Manchester City, and 17 goals for good measure would earn Julian Alvarez a sizable upgrade. Sadly, this isn’t the case as the Argentine has been handed a mere +1 for all his accomplishments.

His final rating of 80 doesn’t feel like an accurate score for a player who has proved to be invaluable in arguably the best team in the world, and we hope to see it bumped up in the future.

Mary Earps

While 86 is far from a bad rating, it still seems low for arguably the best women’s goalkeeper in the world. Mary Earps has been sensational for club and country between the sticks. The Manchester United player was crowned the best goalkeeper at the World Cup before being awarded the FIFA Best Women’s Goalkeeper honor. With all this in mind, her rating should be up there with the very best goalkeepers in EA FC 24.

Goncalo Ramos

Goncalo Ramos grabbed the limelight after netting a hat trick against Switzerland at the World Cup. But even before that, the striker was ripping apart the Primera Liga with Benfica. Ramos bagged 19 league goals last season along with 7 more in European competitions.

Those numbers alone warrant an upgrade for Ramos, who holds a rating of 80 in EA FC 24. Now at PSG, it won’t be surprising to see his stock and his rating go up in the future.

Victor Boniface

Victor Boniface has started his Bundesliga campaign on a strong note.

The Nigerian target man attracted plenty of attention through his displays for Union SG last season. He eventually earned a deserved move to Bayer Leverkusen and continues to flourish as part of Xabi Alonso’s side. Boniface has no shortage of strength and physicality, which when combined with his height make for a lethal combination.

His EA FC 24 rating of 74 doesn’t really capture how deadly the striker can be in the box. The Nigerian has gotten off to a flyer this season, already winning the first Bundesliga POTM award, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him receive an upgrade in a ratings refresh.
