Diablo 4 players are happy with a major QoL feature of The Gauntlet, so they want the devs to include it in other game modes such as Helltides too.

Diablo 4 Season 3 is in full swing as the devs have been quite active in the community, releasing new patches and content for the update. The Gauntlet has been the newest addition to the game, and the players have always had mixed opinions about it.

However, some features of The Gauntlet are being praised by the fans such as this new QoL feature where they could pick up the mats automatically without clicking them. Players want this handy feature to make its way into other game modes such as the Helltides as well.

Reddit user ‘Roomsi’ started this discussion in the Diablo 4 subreddit as they claimed that “having the mats auto pick up is a great feature” in The Gauntlet, as they suggested a “QoL change for cinders” in the game.

“Would be an amazing feature to add to helltides for cinders. Constantly backtracking to grab them feels bad and makes the Helltide farm feel like a slog sometimes,” continued the OP. Many players agreed with their statements as well.

Diablo 4 players have to manually pick up every bit of loot by clicking on them, be it on a PC or a console. This is why many players have complained previously about this issue as well, and now the discussion has been initiated in the community once again.

“This is the most obvious thing they’ve shown they can do but haven’t. So I agree,” said one player as others urged: “Don’t stop there, pickup radius and magnetism for gold, materials, and motes as well. Have it work with your followers as well.”

Inevitable comparisons with Diablo 3 came up as well, as one player said: “The pet in D3 would collect fallen gold.. why oh why is it not in D4? Also having the wardrobe store your farming build, dungeon build and Boss build.. chefs kiss. All stuff that was standard in D3.”

Even though this issue has been brought up in the Diablo 4 community a fair amount of times, Blizzard are yet to address this issue explicitly, and it remains to be seen how the devs fix it in the future.
