Diablo 4 players already done with “boring” Gauntlet mode

The Gauntlet was highly anticipated activity in Diablo 4, but ever since its launch, players have shown mixed reactions towards it.

The Gauntlet in Diablo 4 was released alongside the 1.3.3 update and was something that most players were looking forward to. Within a few hours of release, players started sharing what they felt about this new endgame activity.

It’s worth remembering that the Gauntlet was delayed twice due to unknown reasons, but Blizzard shared a great deal about the activity during the Campfire Chat on February 29.

Redditor ‘Chemist-Consistent’ jumped in to share what they felt about the activity. According to them, “if u need help sleeping…. play this a few times,” they said while referring to the Gauntlet in Diablo 4.

Player ‘punk-ska’ responded to the post about the Gauntlet and said, “Played it once. I’m done with it.” On the contrary, another Diablo 4 player said, “I’ve been enjoying it.”

Redditor ‘Lemonade6’ had a rather neutral approach to it and said, “I never cared for a high score against online players. No matter how hard you try, there will always be someone with more gaming time than you.”

Diablo 4 player ‘Spirited_Scallion816’ added, “I expected the Gauntlet to feel underwhelming, but the reality is worse. It’s extremely boring and unrewarding.”

A different player shared a rather different perspective about the new Diablo 4 activity. They said: “If you are trying to compete for top spots then it’s definitely not boring since you need to stay focused throughout.”

User ‘AmazingSpacePelican’ responded as well, adding: “I like it, but it feels like it’s a couple of updates away from being a great addition. Multiple maps you can choose from, some extra mechanics, some more types of pillar, etc.”

Itt seems players are not happy about the Gauntlet, and the brand-new feature could do with tweaks and updates soon. With the PTR set to arrive sometime before Season 4 releases, it will be worth seeing if the developers introduce any changes to make the content more engaging for the players.
