To enjoy Warzone, many players prefer to join a team with friends, and to celebrate this, Raven Software are set to introduce the Squad Assemble feature and Squad Play bonus proving rewards in Season 3 matches.

Wondering how to get these Warzone Season 3 bonuses and how they work? Here’s all you need to know.

Warzone Squad Assemble feature & Squad Play bonus explained

Warzone’s Squad Assemble feature and Squad Play bonus will give players match rewards by landing near their teammates at the beginning of a Resurgence and Battle Royale match.

When active, players will receive a notification to land with their squad to earn bonuses. Keep in mind this is completely optional.

The Squad Assemble feature will be available in Resurgence and Battle Royale expect for Ranked Play.

To explain how the Squad Assemble feature works, we’ll use the image above. This image displays three main landing scenarios examples. Upon the initial landing of the first teammate, a small radius is formed around them (approximately matching the size shown in the image).

Then, the remaining team members can land within this radius to “land together,” following the next steps described in the Season 3 blog, depending on the squad size:

Full Squad Landing (Quads): All four players’ landing radii overlap with at least one other.
Full Squad Landing (Trios): All three players’ landing radii overlap with at least one other.
Two Half Squad Landing (Quads): Two pairs of players land separately, with each pair’s landing radius overlapping.
Majority Squad Landing (Quads): Three of the four players land with overlapping radii, and one player lands separately.
Majority Squad Landing (Trios): Two of the three players land with overlapping radii, and one player lands separately.
Duo Squad Landing (Duos): For Duos, both squadmates need to land with their radii overlapping.

Every Warzone Squad Assemble feature match reward

If Warzone players manage to land together based on the Squad Assemble rules described above, they will be awarded XP, cash, and even a “special Supply UAV revealing legendary and personal loot cache locations nearby.”

Here are all the Squad Assemble match rewards, as shared by Call of Duty:

Mark Landing Destination: Each player receives XP if any teammate pings the location where you land before the first squad member touches the ground.
Full Squad Landing (Quads, Trios): Players will receive a sizeable XP amount, a cash bonus, and a Supply UAV if they land as a full squad.
Majority Squad Landing (Quads, Trios): Players will receive a sizeable XP amount, a cash bonus, and a Supply UAV if two members (Quads) or one other member (Trios) land together.
Half Squad or Duo Squad Landing (Quads, Duos): Both players will receive a modest XP amount and cash bonus if one other teammate (Quads) or your teammate (Duos) lands together.
