The Warzone Mobile global release date has been officially announced and players don’t have long to wait before the much-anticipated return of Verdansk.

Despite multiple delays, the hype surrounding Warzone Mobile has continued to grow since it was announced. This is partly because fans are eager to take the CoD battle royale on the go, but also because it marks the long-awaited return of the Verdansk and Rebirth Island maps.

The game has been trialed in multiple different regions as the devs looked to ensure the experience was as smooth as possible. These countries got the very taste of the classic BR maps, as well as the multiplayer options also featured.

Now, it appears that the rest of the world doesn’t have too much longer to wait, as a global release date has finally been confirmed.

Warzone Mobile release date announced

Warzone Mobile will launch worldwide on Thursday, March 21, 2024, on both iOS and Android, as confirmed by Activision on February 28. It will be available to download for free from the Apple and Google Play stores.

The blog also detailed how cross-progression will work between the new mobile title and its console and PC counterparts: Warzone and Modern Warfare 3.

Once Warzone Mobile arrives, player, weapon, and Battle Pass XP will be shared across all three titles, as long as you log into your Activision account. This means that playing Verdansk and Rebirth Island on the go will actively help you level up for Urzikstan and multiplayer too.

The same extends to the BlackCell Battle Pass, as all of the rewards offered by the upgraded version will be available in Mobile.

On top of all that, any store bundles purchased for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will transfer over to Warzone Mobile, so don’t be surprised to see Operators from The Boys or The Walking Dead appearing in matches on launch day.

However, they did go on to mention that there will be a “small number of exclusive bundles” that won’t feature across all titles, but it isn’t clear exactly which they are at the time of writing.

Either way, the CoD community will be eager to hop into Warzone Mobile once the March 21 release date rolls around, especially since the game’s graphics have already blown many players away.
