Popular Warzone content creator WhosImmortal has revealed the best SMG loadout to pair with a Sniper in the battle royale.

With so many options to choose from in Warzone, especially since the Season 2 update introduced two new competitive guns, it can be difficult to know which weapon to pair with a Sniper.

Now that Snipers are back on top, with the XRX Stalker being added to the one-shot list, you’ll need a strong support weapon to cover you in close and medium-ranged engagements. Players tend to lean more towards Assault Rifles due to their consistency and ease of use, however, WhoImmortal believes the best Sniper support weapon in Warzone is actually an SMG.

The HRM-9 is WhosImmortal’s Sniper support weapon of choice, as they shared a build that can dominate inside of buildings and also at that awkward mid-range that SMGs usually struggle with.

WhosImmortal said the build provides “plenty of damage up-close,” but it can also “reach out to those medium ranges as well, and even, all the way out to those [long] distances.”

WhosImmortal’s best Warzone HRM-9 Sniper support loadout

  • Barrel: Princeps Long Barrel
  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor S
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum
  • Stock: Folding Stock

For this Warzone HRM-9 Sniper support build, WhosImmortal opts for some different attachments to what is usually seen on the SMG. The Princeps Long Barrel and Sonic Suppressor S both provide some damage range and bullet velocity, allowing you to perform in those long-ranged engagements.

The Bruen Heavy Support and Folding Stock both control the HRM-9’s recoil so that you can stay on target and hit more bullets, while the 50 Round Drum allows you to continue unloading the clip until finish the job.

So, if you’re looking for a new weapon to pair with a Sniper in Warzone, this could be the perfect choice for you. If you’re more of a Rifle player, give WhosImmortal’s fastest-killing MTZ-762 loadout a go instead.
