ActivisionWarzone’s TAQ Evolvere LMG is having its moment in Season 2, doing something unprecedented by taking over both the long-range and close-range meta. A Warzone expert has now shared the perfect close-range loadout for the TAQ Evolvere on Fortune’s Keep.
While the Warzone Season 2 update brought the BP50 AR and RAM-9 SMG, it’s a post-launch weapon that arrived in Season 1 that’s stealing the spotlight so far. Due to buffs that arrived with a February 13 update, players quickly discovered that the TAQ Evolvere LMG is a force to be reckoned with in Warzone.
Thanks to the Tac-Stance mechanic, the TAQ Evolvere is making waves as one of the best close-range options as well as long-range. However, the respective loadouts require their own set of specific attachments, depending on how you aim to use the LMG.

Here’s what the expert shared about the weapon’s ability: “Just absolutely amazing in the Tac-Stance build. It’s got crazy strafe speed and fast time to kill.”

- Muzzle: S-37C DL Breacher Device L
- Laser: Corvus PEQ Beam-5
- Underbarrel: Bruen Tactical Vertical Grip
- Magazine: 100 Round 556 Belt
- Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip
Thanks to the Tac-Stance feature, the TAQ Evolvere LMG can be utilized as a close-range weapon in Warzone. Therefore, most of the attachments will look to improve Tac-Stance spread and mobility.
The S-37C DL Breacher Device L and Bruen Tactical Vertical Grip combine to not only improve Tac-Stance spread but also offer aiming stability improvements. Then, the Corvus PEQ Beam-5 Laser further improves the TAQ Evolvere’s hipfire and Tac-Stance spread.
To wrap things up Booya opts for the 100 Round 556 Belt, which is one of the most important attachments of this build, as he claims “this is big, make sure you have the 556 ammo.” This Magazine improves sprint-to-fire speed, bullet velocity, and recoil control, all while providing a massive amount of bullets.
