Underrated Warzone rifle smokes meta picks with rapid TTK
ActivisionThe Warzone meta is due for another shake-up in Season 3 and CoD expert WhosImmortal revealed which underrated rifle is poised to take over, as it’s already one best options in the entire game.
Assault Rifles are always a popular pick in Warzone, and the BP50 and RAM-7 have been the go-to options during Season 2. However, the Season 3 update is set to bring a ton of buff and nerfs to mix things up, but CoD expert WhosImmortal has revealed which rifle could take over the meta.
In his March 28 video, the YouTuber claimed that despite being something of a “sleeper” rifle, the MTZ-556 is actually one of the best guns in the game. He demonstrated this by comparing its TTK to the other meta weapons, and found that the underrated AR is an incredibly strong option.
While the MTZ struggled at close range, it soon started to match its rivals when it came to mid-range fights, killing in around 750ms between 20 and 30 meters. Then, at longer distances, only the BP50 and the STB 556 killed quicker.
But as WhosImmortal pointed out, the STB is a MW2 gun that isn’t that viable in Warzone right now, while the F2000 struggles with damage per mag.
So, not only is it a top option for the here and now, but it’s also likely to dominate much of Season 3. This is because WhoImmortal expects many of the other meta contenders to be hit with major nerfs, opening the door for the MTZ-556 to become the absolute meta pick going forward.
