Modern Warfare 3 players are adamant that the new Godzilla x King Kong event in Season 3 isn’t the same without a particular map from the Vanguard collab.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 introduces yet another Godzilla x Kong event to Call of Duty, introducing new rewards for players to obtain.

The first time we saw a collaboration for the franchise in CoD was back in Vanguard, and players seemed to love it, as Godzilla and Kong even arrived to wreak havoc in Warzone. Now, MW3 Season 3 brings another collab for the movie franchise, but players are desperate for a specific feature from Vangaurd’s event to return.

The Vanguard Godzilla x Kong event introduced a new map called Mayhem, and players are now saying that the new MW3 collab won’t “feel the same without it.”

Mayhem saw players fighting it out on a small-scale city that reflects the original 1954 Godzilla movie set.

The map quickly became a fan-favorite due to its small nature and fun design, and now players want to see it return for MW3’s Godzilla x Kong event: “Oh man, this map would have been perfect for the upcoming event,” said one player on Reddit.

Others also shared their love for the map too, as one user commented, “I miss this map,” while another described it as “amazing.”

One player even replied, “If they brought Das haus back they can definitely do this one too,” hoping that the devs bring Mayhem back for the MW3 event. We know that the devs aren’t opposed to bringing back fan-favorite maps, as Das Haus, Shipment, and not to mention all the iconic MW2 maps have all returned in MW3.

However, nothing has been announced in terms of a return for Mayhem in the MW3 Godzilla x Kong event, but who knows, perhaps the devs have some surprises up their sleeve.
