MW3 players claim high-end Killstreaks are too difficult to earn

In addition to many weapons and challenges to complete in multiplayer, Killstreaks have been a staple of the Call of Duty franchise since the beginning. However, MW3 players have slammed the high-end Killstreaks as they don’t feel “rewarding” enough.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded brought plenty of content for players to try out, including the brand-new Rio map, some fresh weapon additions such as the HRM-9 SMG and TAQ Evolvere LMG, and more.

Despite enjoying the new content, players have noted that the high-tier streaks feel “underwhelming” and noticed they don’t show up very often, arguing it’s mainly because it’s hard to “earn them when you’re against bunny hopping, meta sweats.”

In a Reddit post, user ‘Gnarkillo’ shared their frustration stating that the “current era of COD matchmaking has made high-end killstreaks/scorestreaks both unnapppealing and underwhelming.”

While players have previously shared their disappointment about how easy taking down MW3 Killstreaks feels, they believe they’re “hardly rewarding,” stating that if weren’t for the game’s menu, many “wouldn’t know [the Juggernaut] was even in the game.”

“Personally I liked the system in Cold War (and maybe other games I didn’t play) where the scorestreak didn’t reset on death. Made streaks much more accessible and more likely to be seen in a match,” a user said, comparing the MW3 and Black Ops Cold War streaks system.

Agreeing with the OP, another player added, “True, haven’t seen a single juggernaut in my entire playtime. The removal of the kill chain perk in combination with the SBMM lobbies, has made the high tier killstreaks almost unobtainable…”

While players have complained since the game’s launch about how challenging it feels to get Killstreaks, leading to them rarely appearing in-game, SHG haven’t shared any plans to improve this frustrating situation.
