Modern Warfare 3’s pool of maps has grown significantly since launch and leaks have revealed that another popular map from CoD Vanguard, also developed by Sledgehammer Games, could return in the future.

When Modern Warfare 3 launched back in 2023, it came with all 16 of the original maps from MW2 (2009). Although some feel that certain maps haven’t translated to the new game as well, many players were delighted to see their old favorites return.

Since then, Sledgehammer Games has fleshed out the pool maps, with new additions like Meat and Greece arriving in updates. They also brought back the ever-popular Shipment, which remains the go-to for camo grinders.

Now, shortly after the MW3 Season 1 Reloaded update went live, leaks have hinted that yet another old map is coming to the game.

According to CoD data miner ‘SemtexLeaks,’ Vanguard’s Das Haus is coming to Modern Warfare 3 in a future update. This came after they found files referring to a number of playlists that included it alongside current maps.

Vanguard’s Das Haus map leaked for MW3

The leak mentioned a handful of different modes, including Das Haus 24/7, Meat Haus 24/7 (Meat and Das Haus), Ship Haus (Shipment and Das Haus), and Shoot the Ship House (Shoot House, Shipment, and Das Haus).

Das Haus first appeared in Sledgahmmers Games‘ last release, CoD Vanguard, and despite that game not earning the best reception, the map quickly became a fan favorite. Its small size and tight corridors, paired with a large open room in the center, made it the ideal place to level up weapons.

While many popular maps have returned numerous times since their debut, Das Haus hasn’t appeared in any game since Vanguard. So, if the leak turns out to be true, this will give players their first chance to try out the chaotic map since 2021.

SemtexLeaks didn’t reveal when Das Haus would be making its comeback, but Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 could be most likely as it’s the next major update. Take all of this with a pinch of salt, however, as nothing has been confirmed by the devs themselves.
